For anyone with an interest in Milton Abbey or Abbas this marvellous book was published in 1978. It is unfortunately out of print, but available at Abe Books second hand. It has saved the history group an enormous amount of time and effort because it was thoroughly researched, is authoritative, complete, and the final word on the history of Milton Abbey. We have not found any new material which adds or changes anything Peter Traskey wrote in 1978. It will never be out of date.
